Announcing the VIDM 2022 Programme!

Announcing the 14th Virtual International Day of the Midwife Conference Programme.  We have our highest number of presentations to date with a total of 49 presentations over 24 hours PLUS a preconference event with World Health Organization (WHO) associates Fran McConville and Elizabeth Iro.
Speakers come from 19 countries across 6 continents, with presentations offered in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Presentations are framed around the 2022 theme “Midwives: Together We Care”.  There is much to inspire and support your midwifery practice, starting with the WHO preconference event and continuing throughout the conference. Five keynote speakers will share their insights: Hermine Hayes-Klein; Pragati Sharma; Sally Pairman, Shawn Walker, and Amber Price.

Check the VIDM 2022 Programme HERE or under the VIDM 2022 menu above.

The VIDM 2022 Programme is scheduled using the UTC time zone, starting with the Preconference session at 19:00 on 04 May. A link is provided in each session description to show the time in your location. You can also subscribe to the Programme Calendar to add either the entire program or individual sessions to your personal digital calendar.
VIDM 2022 will be coming to you via the webconferencing platform Big Blue Button, supported by Frontier Nursing University. The updated platform provides individual links for each session — Just click and join! These ACCESS links will be available in the programme sessions before the conference.
Information for speakers, facilitators, and participants is being added almost daily.  The VIDM Drop-in sessions, starting in the last week of April, provide an opportunity to check out the technology.  Look for the Poster Presentations to be published on the website by the end of April. New podcast interviews with 2022 presenters are added regularly.
Check back often! Better yet, subscribe to the VIDM blog and never miss a post or announcement.

Many thanks to speakers and session facilitators — your patience and hard work make VIDM a success each year.
