Join the VIDM Team!

Do you care passionately about the global nature of midwifery education, research, and practice? Are you interested in working with an engaging international team of volunteers? Would you like to know more about supporting a virtual conference? Then we want to hear from you!

A position with the Virtual International Day of the Midwife Organizing Committee has become available. This is a volunteer position that demands commitment. The committee works year round to bring the VIDM conference to the world, although of course we are busiest as we get closer to 05 May.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. Thank you for your interest in joining the VIDM TEAM.

Meet the current committee members.

Thank YOU from VIDM 2021 — 13 years of global sharing!

The Virtual International Day of the Midwife 2021 conference has come to an end for another year. Once again midwives gathered safely for more than 24 hours to share research, ideas, and stories.  Friendships were forged, and we suspect more than a few professional collaborations! The map above shows how truly global VIDM is!

Please be sure to review After the conference 2021 to:

    • Complete the post conference survey
    • Download your Attendance Certificate for your portfolio
      • English
      • Spanish

Check out the VIDM 2021 Poster Presentations. Many of the presenters have completed interviews. Links to these podcasts are under their names with more to be added.

The conference recordings will be added to the Virtual Midwives YouTube channel — subscribe to stay up to date! The recordings also be added to  in the VIDM 2021 Programme Calendar  — check them out!
