Penny R. Marzalik, PhD, CNM, IBCLC is a certified nurse-midwife and lactation consultant with over 25 years of experience in maternal-child healthcare practice and graduate education. She is currently the director of the nurse-midwifery and women’s health nurse practitioner specialty tracks at The Ohio State University College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Marzalik holds a doctoral degree in nursing research and a Master’s of Science degree in nurse-midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is board certified as a nurse-midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board and internationally board certified as a lactation consultant by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
Dr. Marzalik’s commitment to the profession of nursing and midwifery continues through her role as educator, administrator and clinician for the sole purpose of improving the health and lives of mothers, their children, and their families.
