Megan Arbour is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who earned degrees in midwifery (MS) and nursing (PhD) at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, and a credential as a Certified Nursing Educator. After practicing clinically for several years in Columbus, OH, she followed my passion for educating future nurses and midwives and served as faculty at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH for 10 years. Now an Associate Professor at Frontier Nursing University, Dr. Arbour is passionate about working with students and developing new ways to disseminate curriculum.  

Her scholarly endeavors include work with the ACNM to develop a sleep and safety policy for midwives and student midwives. She has 22 peer reviewed manuscripts that surround the care of women and midwifery care. Dr. Arbour is a peer-reviewer for several journals and served as the chair of the Education Policy Committee of the ACNM and the Committee for the Advancement of Midwifery Education.

She grew up in Maine and now lives in Tallmadge, Ohio with her husband Tom, and 3 young children, Weston, Brody, and Paige.
