Deborah Davis is the Professor and Clinical Chair in Midwifery with the University of Canberra and ACT Government Health Directorate.  Deborah has been working in health care for over 30 years. Midwifery is her job, her hobby and her passion. She began her midwifery career as a homebirth midwife and has since held positions focusing on clinical practice, management, education, leadership and research.

Deborah believes that bringing midwives (and others) together virtually from all corners of the globe, to share, learn, laugh and sometimes cry, is invaluable. She has been an avid supporter of VIDM from its inception.

Listen to Deborah talk about her involvement in the VIDM on this brief video.
