
I am a midwife educator and PhD in Midwifery Student at the University of Porthcourt Rivers State Aceputor and a researcher with professional experience in maternal and newborn health, teaching and health systems research. I am actively engaged in training healthcare providers and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving the quality of maternity care.
My doctoral research focuses on the development and evaluation of a culturally appropriate antenatal education package designed to improve birth preparedness and complication readiness among pregnant women in Ilorin, Nigeria. My research interests include maternal health promotion, antenatal education and strengthening primary healthcare services in low- and middle-income countries.
