I am a registered midwifery, focusing on research. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery from Universitas Airlangga in 2022 and completed the Midwifery Professional Program in 2023. My academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing maternal and child health through research and community engagement.
Currently, I work as a Research Officer at JAKRAD (Jawa Timur–Kalimantan Timur-Adelaide University Research and Development), focusing on impactful health projects across regional areas collaborating with Adelaide University. I also serve as a
Research Assistant in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia, where I am actively involved in maternal health studies, program evaluations, and hospital-based research.
As a researcher, I have contributed to several significant studies, including the Birth Experience Study (BESt), which explores childbirth processes, and research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on maternal mortality rates in Indonesia. I have also participated in studies on the distribution and determinants of stunting in Indonesian provinces.
Additionally, I co-authored the book GACHA: Gerakan Pemberdayaan Remaja, which emphasizes youth empowerment through reproductive health education. I have also led programs “SAMBA”, which aim to empower adolescents with knowledge about reproductive health, particularly in regions with high rates of teenage pregnancy in 2024.
My combined expertise in research and practical public health initiatives demonstrates my commitment to creating meaningful change in maternal and community health. I aspire to continue driving impactful research and fostering sustainable advancements in healthcare systems.
