Jennifer Jagger

Jennifer JaggerJennifer Jagger, MSN, CNM, WHNP, FACNM, is Adjunct Faculty at Georgetown University in the Nurse-Midwifery/ Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) programs and in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon. Jennifer earned her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania and is a PhD student in health policy at Oregon State University. Jennifer’s doctoral research is focused on the political participatory behaviors and attitudes of health care providers and factors that are associated with higher levels of engagement and effective advocacy efforts in health policy change initiatives. Jennifer has served on the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) Government Affairs Committee and as Chair of the ACNM Midwives-Political Action Committee (PAC). Jennifer currently serves as Chair of the Special Projects Grant Committee of the Oregon ACNM Affiliate and the Local Committee for the ACNM Annual Meeting Committee. She also works part-time as a full-scope hospital-based midwife. Her mission as an educator is to prepare midwives and physicians to be effective partners in interdisciplinary teams and policy leaders advocating for change that improves the overall health and well-being of communities.
