
Professor Sa-ada Sadique is a distinguished Professional Midwife with nearly a decade of experience serving adolescents, women, and newborns in Ghana and Saudi Arabia. She holds a BSc in Midwifery from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is pursuing an MSc in Advanced Midwifery. Sa-ada has attained postgraduate certifications from Yale, Arizona State, Nottingham, and Washington universities in maternal care, leadership, and global health project management. She is the founder of Mzzsaa International Healthcare Consult and Eclat Reproductive Health Initiative, offering mentorship, leadership training, and reproductive health services.
Her leadership extends to community health initiatives, notably as Director of Midwifery for the Ghanaian Diaspora Nursing Alliance and founder of Teen Moms Empowerment Network and MOMS Compass. Sa-ada has trained over 500 midwives across Ghana and piloted the MAMA-CVD project to empower rural midwives in detecting cardiovascular risks. She actively promotes maternal and adolescent health via social media and has introduced innovative programs like the Pregnant Woman’s Passport and PinkUpForGirls.
Recognized with several awards; including Best Midwife Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for IDM 2022 in Ghana—Sa-ada was the only midwife from Ghana selected for the Mandela Washington Fellowship in 2023 and was honour as the Empowering Mentor by the DAISY Foundation in January 2026. Her vision is to become an international midwifery consultant, shaping policy, advancing maternal and newborn health, and supporting adolescent mothers through education and career guidance. She is committed to mentorship, capacity building, and elevating the nursing and midwifery profession in Africa through advocacy, leadership, and impactful projects.
