
Romina Gallardo: Doctora en Derecho y Ciencias Sociales egresada de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de la República. Maestranda en Políticas Públicas y Feminismos (Unpaz). Diplomada en Derechos Humanos con mención en Acceso a la Justicia (UCC – Instituto Interamericano de Derechos Humanos. Diplomada en Raza, Género e Injusticia (Universidad Nacional de General San Martín). Cofundadora e integrante de Gestar Derechos, miembro del grupo de trabajo “Philosophy of Birth” (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) y del Critical Midwifery Studies. Coautora de “Violencia Obstétrica. Compendio de Normas. Uruguay 2021” y “Violencia Obstétrica. Una vieja impunidad”. Autora de diversos artículos académicos y de divulgación, a nivel nacional e internacional. Ha participado como ponente, expositora o docente en distintas instancias, como cursos, congresos y mesas redondas vinculadas a la violencia obstétrica, los derechos sexuales y reproductivos, derechos humanos y parto humanizado.

Postgraduate in Human Rights with a mention in Access to Justice (UCC – Inter-American Institute of Human Rights. Co-founder and member of Gestar Derechos (Breed Rights), member of the Philosophy of Birth Network (Complutense University of Madrid) and the Critical Midwifery Studies Collective. Co-author of “Obstetric Violence. Legal Standards Compendium. Uruguay 2021” and “Obstetric Violence. An Old Impunity”. Author of various academic and popular articles, nationwide and internationally. She has participated as a speaker, lecturer or teacher in different instances, such as courses, conferences and round tables linked to obstetric violence, sexual and reproductive rights, human rights and humanized childbirth.
