
Raquel Justiniano has a Bachelors degree in Midwifery, and soon to complete her Master degree in Public Health. She has served as president of the Research and Leadership Committee of the Midwives Association in Argentina and is currently the chief editor of the first midwifery journal in Latin America: “Obstetrix”. She has recently joined ICM’s Professional Regional Research Committee. And is a co- founder of a podcast series “Global Midwifery Voices”. Her goal is to continue to advocate for Midwives recognition in leadership and research positions.
Raquel Justiniano es licenciada en obstetricia y pronto terminará un máster en salud pública. Ha sido presidenta del Comité de Investigación y Liderazgo de la Asociación de Matronas de Argentina y actualmente es la editora jefe de la primera revista de partería de América Latina: “Obstetrix”. Recientemente se ha unido al Comité Regional de Investigación de la ICM. Su objetivo es continuar abogando por el reconocimiento de las matronas en puestos de liderazgo e investigación.
