Ngoh Kindness Natang, MPH is an international midwife leader, maternal and newborn health specialist, and strategic mentor with over 15 years of experience in clinical midwifery, health systems strengthening, and capacity development in humanitarian and fragile settings.

She currently supports the Rohingya Humanitarian Response in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh with UNFPA, advancing quality maternal and newborn health services and strengthening the midwifery workforce Kindness holds a master’s degree in public health and is currently pursuing a PhD, where her research evaluates the impact of mentorship programs on the clinical competence of midwives in Cox’s Bazar humanitarian response.

She is also exploring the role of Artificial Intelligence and digital innovations in strengthening maternal and child health services, reflecting her commitment to integrating emerging technologies into health systems to accelerate progress toward global maternal health goals.

Her leadership roles are dedicated to mentorship, capacity building, and developing national midwife leaders and champions, promoting evidence-based, globally standardized midwifery practice to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes and uphold women’s rights to safe childbirth. She has supported midwifery education, mentorship, and clinical capacity strengthening across Cameroon, Nigeria, Yemen, Sierra Leone, and Bangladesh.

Her work continues to advance innovative, sustainable, and collaborative approaches to strengthening midwifery and improving maternal and newborn health globally.
