
Mutiara Dien Safitri, commonly known as Dien, is a midwife and public health researcher specializing in spatial epidemiology and maternal and child health. She holds a Master of Public Health from Khon Kaen University, Thailand.
Dien works at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto as a midwifery education staff member. Her research focuses on spatial analysis of public health issues, particularly pneumonia, stunting, and health disparities in Indonesia. She has contributed to multiple scientific publications and presented her research at international conferences. She is also involved in policy-oriented research, including a collaborative governance study addressing extreme poverty and stunting in Banyumas Regency.
In addition to her academic and research activities, Dien is actively engaged in community-based health initiatives through her involvement in Me and Mom Baby Care, where she supports maternal and child health services and education.
