Eunice AlexGreat Akhigbe is a Registered Nurse/Midwife with over 17 years of experience. Had her nursing education from the School of Nursing Sacred Heart Hospital Lantoro, Ogun state, and her midwifery education from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital LUTH, she went further to bag a Degree in Nursing Science from the prestigious Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Her passion to impact women with the right information led her to the Wellbeing Foundation Africa. She currently works with The Wellbeing Foundation Africa as the Digital Midwife coordinating the Mama Care Online platform where she reach out to mothers with teachings on pregnancy, labour childbirth, safe motherhood and other related issues.
Ms. Eunice is a Family Planning Provider, certified by the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria, PPFN, a Counsellor for End Human Trafficking with certification from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, UK, a Certified Project Manager and also has a certification for Global mental health from University of Washington, and a Fellow with the Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Risk Management Institute.
Eunice is a prolific and passionate speaker on Relationship, Health (Maternal and Child), Safety and Environmental issues. She is also passionate about empowering families, especially women and girls, with the right information to promote productive, healthy living and safe motherhood.
