Dr Mo Tabib is a midwifery lecturer at Robert Gordon University in Scotland. She has worked across a wide range of midwifery settings, including hospital, community, independent practice, and research, before moving into academia. Mo’s research focuses on how educational interventions influence the wellbeing of expectant parents as well as current and future midwives. She has experience using both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the impact of education on maternal psychological wellbeing and childbirth experiences. She recently led a study examining the effects of an Emotional Intelligence education programme on midwives’ emotional wellbeing and their experiences in practice. Her work is recognised nationally and internationally, with several peer reviewed publications and invited conference presentations
