The Midwifery Learning Exchange presentation is an invitation to the community of midwifery educators to come together to identify interest in virtual or in person planned learning exchanges between students of two programs. Discussion of learning topic based upon the International Confederation of Midwives, Essential competencies for basic midwifery practice (Revised 2013), type and length of exchange, resources needed and anticipated outcomes is included. Facilitation of program match, for those interested, occurs within the presentation.
The presenter is past host to transcontinental professionals and is conducting a midwifery learning exchange this year.
