For more than 5 years, Martha has worked with government and non-governmental agencies to design, implement and evaluate advocacy programs to improve women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, with a focus on maternal health. At the FCI Program of Management Sciences for Health SH, she oversees this program’s work in Africa and Latin America. Martha has expertise in strategy development and program management and in programming on gender, rights and culture. Formerly FCI’s Vice President of regional programs, Martha oversaw FCI’s advocacy work with project teams in more than 40 countries. Previously, she worked with Engenderhealth, the international division of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Spanish Commission on Refugee Assistance. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Paris and completed graduate studies at Middlebury College. She is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
