Linday Deys is an Endorsed Midwife, Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 35 years clinical experience. She is currently working in a Clinical Midwife Consultant role on the south coast of NSW Australia. She will be submitting her PhD thesis in 2024 through the Australian Catholic University, hoping to improve the experience for women birthing by caesarean section. Her interests include skin-to-skin, lactation education, breastfeeding support, woman-centred and midwifery led care, and the role of feminism within maternity care. Linda values and enjoys presenting education for all staff working with pregnant and breastfeeding women to ensure consistent and evidence-based care is provided to women. She hopes to continue her career with a clinical, research, and education focus. Being a VIDM facilitator and presenter is a wonderful opportunity to support midwives across the world.
