Linda Deys is an Endorsed Midwife, Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 35 years clinical experience. She is currently working in a Clinical Midwife Consultant role on the south coast of NSW Australia. She submitted her PhD thesis in 2024 through the Australian Catholic University and is an Honorary Adjunct Fellow at the Western Sydney University. Her interests include lactation education, breastfeeding support, woman-centred and midwifery led care, and the role of feminism within maternity. Linda was an Australian midwife buddy for the 2024 Rotary PNG Buddy Project and has enjoyed working with her PNG midwifery colleagues, including Rachael, over the last 12 months.
