
Anitah Kusaasira from Uganda is a registered midwife working with Mulago Specialized Women and Neonatal Hospital with 12 years of experience in midwifery practice both clinical and research. I am part of the team that is developing an application to bridge the communication gap between deaf patients and health workers. I am the communications and advocacy lead for the young midwife leaders in Uganda. I am currently doing the young midwife leadership program that is being offered by the International Confederation of midwives (ICM). Have also written a few articles.
Passionate about advocacy and becoming a voice of the many in my care and colleagues at work and influencing policy through evidence based practice.
