
Kristy Watson is a Midwifery Lecturer at Federation University in Victoria, Australia, with experience across clinical practice, education, policy advisory, leadership, and research. She previously served as Midwifery Advisor and Midwifery Education Manager at the Australian College of Midwives, where she contributed to national conversations on midwifery education, workforce development, and professional practice.
Kristy draws on her lived experience as a neurodiverse woman and midwife living and working in a rural community, fuelling her passion for inclusive, respectful, and accessible maternity care. She is deeply committed to teaching and learning through nurture, collaboration, reflection and innovation.
