
Karita Aulia Tama is an alumnus of the Bachelor’s and Midwifery Profession Program at Universitas Andalas, Padang, Indonesia. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Midwifery at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Indonesia. As an active practitioner, Karita significantly contributes to her mother’s midwifery service, utilizing her skills as a midwife. Her research interests focus on public health initiatives and community-based midwifery.
Moreover, Karita has engaged in various professional training programs and volunteer initiatives to enhance her skills. Notably, she attended the Basic Baby Massage Training and volunteered for the Combat Stunting initiative in Padang, addressing nutritional issues. Additionally, she contributed to a community service project in Koto Lua Village, Pauh, Padang, promoting clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors. Karita seamlessly integrates the knowledge gained from these experiences into her practice, continually developing impactful projects to enhance maternal and child health.
