Mum of 2 boys , Activist and 2nd year Student Midwife.
Joanna is the President of the King’s College London Nursing and Midwifery Society, This has given her the opportunity to organise a wide range of events to improve student engagement and experience at the university. She’s often found out on the streets heading up the midwifery movement at various demonstrations fighting for women’s rights, trying to save the NHS, or protesting the austerity cuts. She passionately ensures all students have equal chance to access extra curricular learning opportunities, and is looking forward to supporting fellow students pursuing an elective placements.
