Currently pursuing my PhD in midwifery at the University of Nottingham. Practiced clinical midwifery until 2013 when I began my career as a midwifery educator with some combined clinical roles. I am a fellow of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives and an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK. I have previously held various roles on the regional and national executive boards of the National Association of Registered Midwives. I have an interest in evidenced based midwifery practice geared towards the improvement of midwifery practice particularly the midwife-mother relationship, the improvement of childbirth experience for women and empowerment of midwives through continuous professional development.
