Indri Astuti Purwanti, commonly known as Indri, is a registered midwife from Indonesia who is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree at Khon Kaen University in Thailand. With a strong background in maternal and community health, Indri began her career working at a clinic for a year before transitioning into research. She now focuses on community-based midwifery studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, where she contributes to advancing healthcare practices for mothers and newborns.

Indri has received several research grants, including the Pekalongan Regional Superior Research Grant (2017), a grant from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) (2018), the Blora Regional Superior Research Grant (2019), and a research grant from Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (2021-2022). Her dedication to academic excellence was further supported by the Predeparture English Course from the Ministry of Education and Culture (2022) and the Active Recruitment Scholarship from Khon Kaen University (2023).

Indri is passionate about improving maternal health services and fostering evidence-based solutions to enhance midwifery care at the community level. Through her academic and professional journey, she strives to make a meaningful impact in the field of public health and maternal care.
