Heather Brigance earned a DNP in 2019 and MSN-Midwifery in 2012, both from the University of Florida, a BSN in 2010 from Kennesaw State University in Georgia, and a BS in Family, Youth, and Community Science in 2001 from the University of Florida. I have practiced full-scope midwifery in a variety of settings, including a FQHC, community hospital, academic medical center, and regional perinatal care centers. My interests specifically include nutrition, health disparities, and evidence-based practice.
My family includes my husband, 3 daughters, 4 dogs, and a cat. I am a huge fan of Florida Gators football, and enjoy watching sports, traveling, camping, hiking, and reading.
