GOODSON MUKOSA MPUMBA
A Zambian trained Midwife with 9 years of experience and 5 years of experience as a nurse. Goodson has worked as a delivery midwife, ward and departmental in-charge, District Nursing Officer and Provincial Project Coordinator. He is a published author, mentor, public speaker, and motivational/inspirational speaker. He is a member of the Midwives Association of Zambia (MAZ) and currently a branch chairperson for Chipata Central Hospital MAZ Branch. He is also a member of the Maysons Nursing Foundation (MNF), a Zambian, but with global membership, Nursing Leadership honour foundation which seeks at mobilizing like minded nurse leaders to promote sharing of experiences in nursing leadership through mentorship, hosting of conversational sessions and webinars on various topics that embraces nursing and midwifery leadership.
Since 2019, Goodson’s work has been inclined towards quality Assurance and Quality Improvement where he focuses on Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) as a provincial Coordinator based at Eastern Provincial Health Office (EPHO), in Chipata, overseeing the 14 districts in Eastern Province of Zambia.
