Gill has been a midwife since 1984 working in Sheffield until she joined the RCM as a regional officer in 2006. In 2012 Gill became Regional Head and managers a team of regional officers in the north of England. As a member of the RCM strategic leadership team Gill has lead on the development of the RCMs’ Standing up for High Standards document supporting members to raise concerns and is currently leading on the Caring for You RCM campaign for healthy workplaces delivering high quality care.
