Eli has been interested in foreign languages for as long as she can remember. They studied English, French and German in High School, as well as Latin, then Japanese and East Asian cultures at the University of Bologna. They also attended a semester at the Kansai Gaidai University, near Osaka, and has been trying to go back ever since.
Since 2010 Eli has been volunteering as peer reviewer and mentor for conferences dealing with education in virtual worlds. In 2017 they started working as transcriptionist at conferences about disability rights, mental health issues, and education in virtual worlds.
They work as a freelancer transcriptionist and private tutor, as well as webmaster for multiple websites related to education, music, poetry and art.
