VIDM commended at IME Awards – International Education

The VIDM is delighted to announce that earlier in November we were commended at the International Maternity Expo Awards for our work in International Education.

This award is given for projects, resources and international education developments that are influencing maternity services and having global impact on midwifery and maternity care education. Ally Anderson (Committee Member) travelled to London to receive the award on behalf of our international team.

The International Maternity Expo (IME) is a unique new filmed international maternity festival and trade expo for all healthcare professionals, governments, service providers, and suppliers working in maternity around the world.

Join the VIDM team!

Do you care passionately about the global nature of midwifery education, research, and practice? Are you interested in working with an engaging international team of volunteers? Would you like to know more about supporting a virtual conference? Then we want to hear from you!

Being a Virtual International Day of the Midwife (VIDM) committee member is a volunteer position that demands commitment and engagement. We work year round to bring VIDM to the world, although of course we are busiest as we get closer to 05 May and the conference.
