
Caroline Maringa is passionate about capacity building and Capacity development, professional growth and transference of knowledge and skills of individuals including the growth of organisations in an organized and structured environment. She has vast experience in research and information services, user education and user training in Learning Management Systems and possesses good communication and organisational skills. Caroline has worked in both the public and private sector as a consultant and has vast experience as a trainer, ToT facilitator and training coordinator. She is a team motivator who plans and executes initiatives and tasks, diligently and values and respects persons from diverse cultures and backgrounds. She holds a Bsc in Information Science, has undertaken several professional development courses in various disciplines some include: Leadership and Organizational development; Project Management for Development Professionals and Gender and development among many others. She is currently pursuing a Masters program in Leadership and Development. For the last 20 years she has been a Program Manager in Training and Capacity Development at the Africa Capacity Alliance (ACA), secretariat based in Nairobi, Kenya and is currently working as an independent capacity building consultant. She has been a VIDM facilitator for the last 2 years, enjoyed every session that she facilitated, and is looking forward to facilitating in VIDM 2023.
