Carol is a self-driven professional with over 20 years working experience in the design, development, delivery, implementation and coordination of training and capacity building programs within the Eastern and Southern Africa region and most recently in the Horn of Africa (HoA) region; She has worked in both the public and private sector and has vast experience as an adult-learning facilitator as a team leader a Trainer Consultant and training co-odinator in Kenya and the ESA region. Her experience spans across Eastern and Southern Africa conducting training for government stakeholders, private sector and civil society organizations.
Carol is passionate about capacity development the growth of individuals and organisations in an organized and structured environment. She always aims to maximize her management skills, program development, training experience, international relations within the training environment and other related areas that offer professional growth while being resourceful, innovative and flexible.
Currently, she is consulting for Optimal Development Associates (a Nigerian based organization) to build the capacity of CSOs working on issues of Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) in both Kenya and Nigeria to ensure that they are efficient in delivering on their mandate.
