
Betsy Arnold-Leahy has been a midwife for over 35 years and in health care for almost 50 years. Currently in a midwifery-led practice in Brooklyn, New York she has been active in local, state and national midwifery issues and participates in midwifery education.
Her passion for the art and science of midwifery, hand skills, and knowledge led to her to pursue a doctorate in midwifery, her topic being “Abdominal Palpation in Expert Practitioners.” She has presented manual rotation and other strategies for managing Occiput Posterior presentations in multiple conferences and arenas.
