Dr Alys Einion FRCM is an author, educator and activist with 21 years’ experience in Higher Education. A prolific writer, Alys has authored more than 25 book chapters, and has authored, co-authored and co-edited six works of fiction and non-fiction/scholarship. She has published more than thirty journal articles, 37 editorials, and was the Editor in Chief of the Practising Midwife for four years. She currently provides developmental editing support to academics and authors on their own writing journeys. She holds an senior academic role at the University of Dundee, and her research interests are women’s lived experience, narratives, creative writing (prose) and midwifery.
