Canadian poet Alice Major has published 11 books of poetry and a collection of essays, Intersecting Sets: A Poet Looks at Science. Her poetry collections include Corona Radiata, a contemplation of the child developing in the womb. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Distinguished Artist Award from the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Alberta.
