Abra Pearl joined Maternity Foundation as coordinator- nursing and midwifery education in January 2023. Based in India, she supports the clinical team in content development for the safe delivery app in line with the global and local guidelines along with clinical trainings.
Pearl is a nurse midwife and holds a doctorate in nursing (PhD) from Pondicherry central university and has vast experience in the field of nursing and midwifery education and public health. She had supported the Indian Nursing Council in rolling out the midwifery initiative and has contributed to preservice nursing education in the country. She is skilled in educational technology, clinical trainings and quality improvement mechanisms.
