Abigail Yamoaa Appiah is my name. I am a midwife educator by profession. I have a diploma in registered midwifery which I completed in 2007 from the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Cape Coast, Ghana. I possess a certificate in BEd. Health science from University of Cape Coast, 2015 and BSc. Midwifery from Valley View University, all in Ghana. I obtained MPhil Midwifery from the University of Ghana in 2024. I practiced on as midwifery from 2008 and entered into to midwifery education from 2015. Together I have practiced for approximately 18years. In 2023, I won the prestigious Dr Kwaku Asante Krobea best Nurse Educator’s award, an annual national award organized by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association.
