Hadiza Mohammed Sani

I am Dr. Hadiza Mohammed Sani (PhD) an experienced academic that is interested in Community Health Nursing (Community Maternal and Child Health Nursing to be specific). I have published a number of peer – reviewed articles, attended conferences and workshops in the field of Nursing and midwifery. I have participated in a number of training programs for midwives on enhancing Life Saving Skills and Essential Obstetric and Newborn Care (LSS EOC), and enhancing midwifery education skills. I have worked with Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital School of Nursing as a Senior Nurse Tutor from 2009 to 2013, after which I joined the service of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria Nigeria (2013 to date) during which I coordinated many activities in the Department of Nursing Sciences, College of Medical Sciences, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Among them are: Curriculum Coordinator, Library Coordinator. Coordinating the Nursing Council Office now is giving me the opportunity to organize all Professional examinations, induction of new graduates into the profession and liaisons between the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and the department. I am a registered member with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a nurse – midwife and a public health nurse. I am happily married for 17 years with 3 daughters and a son.
