What does a VIDM conference facilitator do?
- Before the conference, facilitators work with conference presenters by helping them to use the web conferencing technology to enhance their presentation.
- During the conference, facilitators moderate the speaker’s session, keeping time and providing space for audience questions and discussions.
Each facilitator works with the guidance of a session moderator, assisting before and during the conference. Training will be provided. Facilitators should be proficient in English. The ability to work in additional languages is an asset, especially in Spanish. Over the last few years VIDM has seen presentations in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Indonesian, and Portuguese.
