Mr. Fekadu Mazengia Alemu is a Registered Midwife and a Public Health Specialist (MPH/RH). He has over 19 years of teaching, midwifery, and public health experience in Ethiopia and South Sudan.

He has extensive experience in leadership and management, strategic planning and development of midwifery and nursing initiatives, as well as public health initiatives. Maternal and newborn health, health access and other health-related issues, HIV/AIDS, and PMTCT are among his research interests.

He is currently the executive director of the Ethiopian Midwives Association and a PhD candidate in MPH/RH at Addis Abeba University.
