Cindy Nelly CNM/ARNP from Maine. She has been working in women’s healthcare for over 20 years. Cindy provides full scope midwifery care domestically and in international humanitarian and development. She divides herself between a thriving midwifery practice in Florida and her international humanitarian work. She has worked in over 10 countries on over 4 continents. Her most recent work has been in the Middle East providing emergency obstetric care in Iraq during the Mosul conflict. Her work with refugees in Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan is propelling her toward her DNP. She feels driven to work toward equitable, mindful care for women in the most vulnerable of settings. Cindy also collaborates and works as a midwifery educator and mentor. She has four children including a set of identical twins and lives with her Kiwi partner in Gainesville Florida.
