Tania Pariona Tarqui
Quechua indigenous leader, human rights activist and former congresswoman of the Republic of Peru (2016-2019). Bachelor in Social Work and Master in Human Development: Approaches and Policies. She has training in Indigenous Rights and the mechanisms of the United Nations System. She is a member of the Enlace Continental de Mujeres Indígenas de las Américas (ECMIA) and associate of the Centro de Culturas Indígenas del Perú (CHIRAPAQ) with a high commitment to work with indigenous communities, women and youth in Peru and internationally.
Lideresa indígena quechua, activista de derechos humanos y ex congresista de la República del Perú (2016-2019). Licenciada en Trabajo Social y Magíster en Desarrollo Humano: Enfoques y Políticas. Tiene formación en Derechos Indígenas y los mecanismos del Sistema de las Naciones Unidas. Es miembro del Enlace Continental de Mujeres Indígenas de las Américas (ECMIA) y asociada del Centro de Culturas Indígenas del Perú (CHIRAPAQ) con alto compromiso de trabajo con comunidades, mujeres y jóvenes indígenas en el Perú y a nivel internacional.

Brenda holds a degree in Biology from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina and a Master’s degree in Amazonian Studies from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Curious and activist of women’s health and women’s knowledge. She is the coordinator of the Indigenous Women’s Program of CHIRAPAQ – Center for Indigenous Culture of Peru.
Licenciada en Biología por la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina y Magíster en Estudios Amazónicos por la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Curiosa y activista de la salud femenina y saberes de las mujeres. Es coordinadora del Programa Mujeres Indígenas de CHIRAPAQ – Centro de Cultural Indígenas del Perú.
