Attending a 24 hour conference with concurrent sessions via webconference takes planning! When are you available? Which sessions are your “must attends” and which ones can you catch as recordings? Review the Programme Calendar and save the sessions to your calendar. Make note of the session room (1 – 2 – 3).
How about the webconferencing technology? The conference rooms are open all the time — feel free to log in and check them out. Check Accessing the conference,grab your headset, and you will be ready for the conference. NOTE: VIDM is mobile friendly, however be sure to use Firefox or Chrome browsers if connecting from a computer.

Now in our eleventh year, we have our highest number of presentations to date with a total of 30 presentations over 24 hours. Speakers come from 14 countries across 6 continents, and presentations are offered in 4 languages, English, French, Italian and Spanish. All of our speakers have confirmed that the time slots we have allocated to them are suitable, no mean task considering the many different time zones represented.
The VIDM 2019 Programme Calendar is published using the UTC time zone, starting at 22:00 on 04 May. A link is provided to show the time in your own time zone. You can also subscribe to the Programme Calendar to add it to your own electronic calendar.
Speakers are always supported on a one to one basis here at the VIDM so our facilitators have been paired with their speakers and the partnerships are working on presentation and technology. Many thanks to speakers and facilitators as without your patience and hard work making this work we wouldn’t have a conference.
